About Claydon Lodge Care Home
Claydon Lodge Care Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide care and accommodation for up to 45 service users.
The home is managed daily by Mrs. Michaela Whitehall, who has 21 years Management experience, and has achieved Level 5 in Management.
The home was purpose built in 1995, and retains many of its original features. The home has 17 rooms with en suite facilities, all others being standard single rooms. 4 en suite rooms are larger in size, situated on the ground floor, and also have a shower facility, these are our Premium Rooms.
The home is situated in North Wingfield near to Chesterfield, with easy access to the M1 Motorway of Junction 29, there is also access via public transport to the town centre and surrounding areas.
The home has close access to all local amenities, shops, chemist, doctors, and the church.
All cooking is home made on the premises by our dedicated kitchen staff, and individual dietary requirements can be catered for.
The home works closely with outside agencies, in which District Nurses and GP's visit the home on a regular basis.
The home has a real genuine home from home feel, and this is what makes us stand out from the rest, with genuine compassionate and caring staff.
